How To: Record And Share Powerpoint Presentations Seamlessly
Technology has made our lives a lot easier these days, by gifting us many convenient capabilities that could be achieved through software functions and more. Microsoft Powerpoint is ideal not just for presentation creation, but for it’s many available methods of sharing as well. You no longer have to physically travel to a specific location in order to make information accessible to your colleagues, investors or clients anymore. All you have to do, is record and share your powerpoint presentation using the right methods. Here’s how you can do so:
When it comes to recording powerpoint presentations, you will first need to tweak the set up settings. Look for your slide show tab and choose the set up group so that you can click on Start recording (from beginning) or Start recording (from current slide). If your powerpoint presentations require narration, make sure to first attach your microphone before you begin recording. Once you have chosen the options, you will be able to select what preferences you want based on what is prompted. After doing so, start recording and your powerpoint presentation will be opened in a full screen.
You will also notice that your mouse pointer does not appear on your screen during recordings, so make sure to point out relevant details through the powerpoint software’s laser pointer settings. While recording your powerpoint presentation, click on the next button or make use of your right arrow key to navigate to the following slides. Microsoft Powerpoint will automatically close it’s full screen view once you finish your powerpoint presentation recording. You will be able to see the timing for your powerpoint presentation and narration!
If you do not want the timings or narration to be included, look in your slide show tab again. Once more, choose your set up group. This time, use your mouse pointer and hover over the Clear section- you will then be given a list of options to choose from.
Once you are done, you can choose to share your powerpoint presentations through several options. You can export powerpoint presentations as videos first by choosing the file tab and accessing backstage view. You will then be able to select export and choose create a video- select the necessary export versions for quality control. You can then choose to upload your video through video sharing websites like Youtube or send them in as email attachments. Alternatively, you can also present your powerpoint presentations online by choosing the slide show tab and looking for the start slide show group. You can then choose present online.
Hit connect and powerpoint will generate a link for you. Copy your link and email it or share it. Click on end online presentation when you are done.
With these steps in mind, you should be able to successfully record your very own powerpoint presentation and share them with the relevant people. Great care and practise is required in order to smoothly achieve this but you will be able to do so in time so get started on doing just so!
